We wanted to announce that we are having a girl! Yesterday we had our appt. and the results are more girlish than boyish. We are 17 weeks along so it is pretty early still but our nurse midwife was 90% sure that is going to be a girl.
Ryan wanted baby to be a boy because all of his buddies have boys but when our midwife said girl, he said that he always knew that he would have a girl first. For the past 4 weeks I just had this feeling that there is a girl in my belly!
As for the rest of the appt. she is growing just as she should be! Her heart beat is 141 and she is 7 ounces. In the ultrasound we could see her wiggling her toes and scratching her nose! Ryan kept saying over and over, "Oh my gosh! That is amazing! Wow!" It is such a miracle that there is a little human growing inside my body.
We are so excited! We are praying that everything will continue to go well and that we can get her here safely.
